The History Of Our Law Firm
In 2017, Babak founded Zargarian Litigation on the day he became a lawyer. The firm’s first office was in Vancouver before Babak opened the second office a couple years later in Nanaimo. Babak is an experienced and well-known trials and appeals lawyer. He can handle any criminal case, from the least to most serious. Commonly charged and defended cases include assault, sexual assault, drug trafficking, firearms, fraud, driving while prohibited, and everything in between.
In 2019, Zoe founded Arghandewal Law. Zoe was initially trained in criminal law and one of her first trials was a high profile multi-accused murder case. Zoe then moved on to employment law, where she assists employees, and sometimes employers, in resolving disagreements. Now, Zoe’s practice includes both employment law and criminal law. The common thread is that both involve fighting for the little guy, which is why Zoe became a lawyer in the first place.
In 2024, Babak and Zoe joined forces through the merger of Zargarian Litigation and Arghandewal Law under the banner of Zargarian Litigation. Babak and Zoe are equal partners and owners of the firm. Babak takes on just criminal cases. Zoe splits her time between the two practice areas – she simply likes both too much to give up on either.
Babak and Zoe have known each other since the first day of law school at the University of British Columbia and make a solid team. Together, they can work more efficiently on cases, take on more clients, and help one another out.
